Born and raised in Oakland, Ali attended and graduated from Head-Royce School, then received her BA from Occidental College in Los Angeles. After living in LA for 5 years, Ali couldn’t wait to move back up to the Bay Area to continue her career. While working at a fast-paced start-up in South San Francisco in HR Management, Ali decided to switch careers in order to work with her husband Christian Thede at Northbrae Properties in Berkeley.

Now, Ali along with her trusty assistant, Sir Wallace Vander Beek I (known to his friends and clients as Wally) has happily settled into the East Bay Real Estate world. After the loss of her beloved Potbelly Pig, Oscar, Ali decided to branch out from her professional interior design work and get back in her art studio combining her love of color and art to create fun abstract pieces in all shapes and sizes.
